mattMatt West, Owner – Founder of SMI in 2004, Matt has 15 years of sales and marketing experience working with over 100 clients in a variety of industries including tourism, hospitality and manufacturing. Matt currently manages marketing strategy and implementation for clients and has an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.

brandiBrandi West, Director of Operations – As Director of Operations, Brandi wears many hats. She handles Internet Marketing, Creative, and many Management roles within SMI. Her background includes over 12 years of sales and marketing experience, an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Georgia, and an MBA from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business.

Robbin Stratford, Web Developer – A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Robbin has a graphic design background along with expertise in html and css coding. Specializing in content management systems, mobile site development, and search engine optimization, SMI’s clients can rest assured their cutting-edge web projects maintain a consistent message and take advantage of the most innovative internet functionality.

Rob Young, Lead Writer – Rob Young is an Award-winning writer and editor with versatile talents and flexible writing style. Well-versed in composing food-related articles, feature pieces, profiles, press releases, creative Web and marketing copy. Rob has a sound understanding of the English language; experienced in virtually all writing formats with a serious commitment to excellence in the printed and published word. Articles have appeared in such publications as The Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Chicago Tribune, The Palm Beach Post, The Austin American Statesman, The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier, Charleston Magazine and Fodor’s Travel Guides. Rob is an adept blogger; proficient with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Rob graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Journalism and Mass Communications in 1997.

Jeff Mason, Creative Director – is a 19-year veteran art director and graphic designer and has developed and helped launch B2B and B2C advertising campaigns for international, regional and local businesses including: United Parcel Service, Hansgrohe, D.R. Horton Home Builders, KOMA Trim Products, Simple Floors, Berchtold USA, Gerber Plumbing Fixtures, Kauffman Tire, The Citadel and Earthshare Georgia. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Jeff grew up in Charleston, SC and relocated to Atlanta in 2005. Jeff holds an Associates degree in Graphic Design from Trident Technical College and a BA in Graphic Design from the University of South Carolina.
